Hmong Pad Thai Recipe

Soak your pho noodles in cold water for about 45 mins then drain.

Ingredients

  • Hoisin sauce
  • Pad thai sauce
  • Fish sauce
  • Seasoning sauce (if you don’t like seasoning sauce you can substitute soy sauce)
  • Oyster flavored sauce
  • 1 cup water
  • Minced Garlic
  • Meat (beef, pork, chicken, etc..)
  • Tofu
  • Eggs
  • Peanuts (crushed)
  • Bean Sprouts
  • Green Onions

 



 
 

 
Instructions

Create Sauce
Add hoisin sauce, pad thai sauce, fish sauce, seasoning sauce (if you don’t like seasoning sauce you can substitute soy sauce), oyster flavored sauce and 1 cup water. Mix everything together in a large bowl.

Cooking
1. fry the minced garlic in oil
2. add meat and fry thoroughly
3. pour in sauce (above)
4. when sauce is boiling, add tofu
5. add noodle (make sure you pour enough sauce for your noodles, you don’t want to pour the whole bowl of sauce and your noodles too much or too less. It’s best if you do a small portion at a time. Unless you are doing it in a big wok)
6. taste noodles to make sure it is soft and add additional sauce if needed
7. add in a handful of bean sprouts and cook for 1 minute
8. add in scramble eggs
9. remove and put into plate
10. add crushed peanuts, uncooked bean sprouts, and green onions and serve
