Hmong Tofu Chicken with Mushroom Sauce Recipe
- Tofu (extra firm)
- Chicken breast (1 chicken breast)
- 4 button white mushroom or can use any kind of mushroom
- Vegetable oil
- Olive oil
- 1 tsp of corn starch
- 1/2 of water
***add salt for your own taste (MSG optional)
Press Tofu to get the extra water out. Then cut into 1/2 inch thick. Also thinly slice your chicken breast.
In a nonstick frying pan put 1/2 cup of vegetable oil and deep fried the Tofu. When tofu is brown on both side remove it. In a separate frying pan, add 1 table spoon of olive oil and cook the chicken breast. Remove then add mushroom when its fully cooked. Add 1 tsp of corn starch into the 1/2 of water mix and mix it well. Next, pour into the frying pan. Cook until the broth thicken then remove and pour over tofu and chicken.
