Orange Chicken Recipe

3 lbs chicken breast
3 cups flour
1 tbs salt
4 tbs corn starch
6-7 egg yokes
2 tbs of oil
2 tbs of sugar
2 tbs of minced garlic
2 tbs of minced ginger
2 cups of Sunny D Orange Juice
2 tbs of thin soy sauce
1 tbs of soy sauce
2 tbs of orange zest
1 tbs of corn starch
2 tbs of water




Cut chicken breast into small cubes. Mix flour, salt, and corn starch together in a bowl. Have 6-7 yoke mixed together in a separate bowl. Batter chicken breast cubes into the flour and remove. Take batter chicken in mix with the yoke. Next, batter in back into the flour, salt and corn starch. Remember to remove each piece individually so it won’t stick together. Fried chicken in hot oil. Use fresh oil. Remove when chicken is golden.

In a frying pan, put oil, garlic, ginger and orange zest together. Fry until golden brown then add the orange juice. Add soy sauce, thin soy sauce and sugar. Mix well together in medium hear until shimmer. In a small bowl, mix the corn starch and water together, mix well. Slowly add corn starch mix into the the pan and quickly stir so it won’t clump. Mix with batter chicken, add sesame seed, orange and spring onion for garnishing.
