Vietnamese Ham Recipe
2 lbs ground pork
2 tablespoons fish sauce
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon white pepper powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 cup cold water
2 tablespoons potato starch
2 bags single active baking powder (alsa brand pink bag)
1. Mix ground pork, fish sauce, sugar, pepper powder and garlic powder
2. Mix water, potato starch and baking powder
3. Mix step 1 & 2 together
4. Cover and put in freezer for 2 hours
5. Put cold mixture in food processing and ground it up until smooth paste.
6. Put in banana leaf, tie and steam for 45 minutes.
